  3. 6.1  Description
  4.  
  5.      SNA 3770, sometimes called SNA RJE, transfers files between IBM
  6. mainframes and HP systems.  Files sent to IBM mainframes can be JCL pro-
  7. grams (or jobs) to be executed on the mainframe.  Output from the IBM
  8. host jobs, e.g. printouts, can be returned over the SNA 3770 connection.

  10.      HP provides SNA 3770 on HP 9000 Series 300, 400, 700, and 800.

  12.      The Series 700 is supported in the Gateway configuration only.  A
  13. Series 300, 400, or 800 system with Gateway SNALink is required.  Native
  14. SNA communications for the Series 700 is planned for mid-1992.  Please
  15. contact IND Product Marketing or the Sales Response Center for details.

  17.      SSI does not provide SNA 3770 on HP 9000s.
